This blog will be such a mishmash of things, hence the name Lisabeth's Garden. You never know what will be blooming in the garden. Some things are planted on purpose, some things are like weeds and show up just when you don't want them to, and sometimes you can't get out in the garden to take care of things. Some things need to ripped out or replanted, others are over producers. It takes time and care for a garden, what you put into it you harvest. That being said; here I will write about whatever the heck comes into my head. Be it knitting, spinning, fiber related, lots of fiber related, life, gardening, recipes, thoughts, faith, a bit of witch, reading, triumphs and failures, family, friends, crafts, marriage, woodworking (stop laughing over there in the back row: I was into wood and metal lathes before harassment was even thought of as a no-no), homeschooling, volunteerism, making things as I do more than just fiber stuff, sadness, happy things and whatever the hell I feel like and rarely politics.

Spring time in the Mitten (shape of the state) is usually fighting with Old Man Winter. (personally I think Mother Nature is off her meds again). Sour cherry trees have their blossoms yet it's still too cold for the honey bees to do their thing. Rain, no snow, no freezing temps, no, let's have 70 degrees and sun, nope snow again, all in 24 hrs. Currently it's rained the last three days and we are back to mud.

Many things happen on a farm in the Spring; New goat kids, kittens, old goats passing, mud, slush, a quiet moment, oops more rain. Never ending, and never the same, for which I am grateful. The days blend together sometimes but, for me, that's okay.

So here is the 1st, but, not last post from the garden.
